OH PUC AEP Grid Modernization Rate Case Hearing

The Ohio Public Utilities Commission will hold its fifth and final public discussion on American Electric Power Company Inc.’s proposal in November to modify and extend its third electric security plan through May 2024. The draft plan would hike rates to pay for grid modernizations including electric vehicle charging and microgrids, as well as invest in upgrades for grid security, among other measures. The District of Columbia Public Service Commission will review the impact of the recently enacted federal tax cuts on Potomac Electric Power Co. and Washington Gas’s distribution service rates. The companies are slated to submit proposals for cutting rates to reflect the new tax law. (19247)

NYSERDA Offshore Wind Master Plan Webinar

The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority will share the roadmap to meet its offshore wind target of 2.4 gigawatts by 2030 included in its new master plan.
