The U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit will consider whether FERC reasonably found that monetary damages were sufficient to remedy a breach of contract by Enterprise TE Products Pipeline Company LLC when it stopped delivery of jet fuel and diesel fuel. (16-1245)

The Ohio Public Utilities Commission will hold its fifth and final public discussion on American Electric Power Company Inc.’s proposal in November to modify and extend its third electric security plan through May 2024. The draft plan would hike rates to pay for grid modernizations including electric vehicle charging and microgrids, as well as invest in upgrades for grid security, among other measures. The District of Columbia Public Service Commission will review the impact of the recently enacted federal tax cuts on Potomac Electric Power Co. and Washington Gas’s distribution service rates. The companies are slated to submit proposals for cutting rates to reflect the new tax law. (19247)
The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority will share the roadmap to meet its offshore wind target of 2.4 gigawatts by 2030 included in its new master plan. As an initial step, the state will seek to buy at least 800 megawatts of offshore wind generation over the next two years. (18-E-0071)
The Illinois Commerce Commission will issue a final decision on Commonwealth Edison Co.’s $25-million Bronzeville community microgrid pilot, a decade-long program to understand best practices for siting, integrating and operating the systems. (17-0331)

The California grid operator will discuss updates to its congestion revenue rights auction design. The financial instruments enable their holders to hedge against a rise in congestions costs in the day-ahead market.
