EnerKnol announced the addition of Bill Pierce to their team, in the role of Marketing Director. EnerKnol is a cloud-based software company that allows access and tracking of energy policy data that users need to advance in today’s transformative energy market.
EnerKnol is a highly innovative data and analytics company. The company was created to solve the widespread market need for real-time access to the critical regulatory information required to make decisions in the energy industry. Data from fossil fuels, power & utilities, environmental commodities, renewables, and more are available.
The EnerKnol Platform is the first software solution to offer comprehensive access to federal, state, and local energy policy information, in real-time, from a single subscription-based website. Its proprietary algorithms parse hundreds of thousands of policy documents, identify those pertinent for individual energy businesses, and equip users with refined, actionable data to allow for confident decision making.
Software development is EnerKnol’s focus. Their product is driven by their policy expertise, which is the key ingredient that fuels their technology and empowers their mission. Their team of seasoned analysts have published more than 800 EnerKnol research briefs, providing their customers with deeper insights into the regulatory impacts to energy markets.
“The entire EnerKnol team and I are delighted to bring Bill Pierce on board as Director of Marketing. Bill brings more than 18 years of expert marketing experience to our team. He’s passionate about electric vehicles, renewable energy, and making the world a better place, which aligns with our company’s founding mission. I’m confident Bill will help bring EnerKnol to the next level,” said
Angelique Mercurio, CEO & Founder of EnerKnol.
Mercurio, who was an energy policy analyst on Wall Street in her earlier career, launched EnerKnol in 2016. “The name EnerKnol means Energy Knowledge, which captures the simplicity and the fundamental nature of our mission to transform the energy industry by providing real-time access to regulatory data,” said Mercurio.
Prior to EnerKnol, Mercurio created New York Energy Week (NYEW) in 2013 as an important part of the EnerKnol founding mission to drive forward investment and innovation in the diverse energy industry. Since the event’s inception, it has welcomed more than 5,000+ senior energy business and government leaders from across the world.
“I’m honored to join the EnerKnol team as Marketing Director. I’ve worked as a marketer for over 18 years and have gained valuable experience. I’m confident that I can build EnerKnol’s marketing and online presence to world-class standards. I’m looking forward to working with the EnerKnol team with great anticipation. EnerKnol offers a wonderful, innovative product,” said Bill Pierce.
Pierce lives in Vista, California with his family, and enjoys camping and hiking. He believes in giving back to the community. He has volunteered with Plug In America, The Electrification Coalition, The San Diego Green Building Council, and the Aqua Hedionda Lagoon Foundation.
“What impressed me most about EnerKnol was their strong commitment to sustainability. I believe strongly in protecting the environment. This concern led me to join the California Native Plant Society and other volunteer groups. I support renewable energy, EV adoption, and am a member of the Electric Vehicle Association of San Diego. I am committed to championing inclusivity, diversity, and equity through my pursuit of a zero-emission future,” said Pierce.
Pierce brings deep technical knowledge and expertise to EnerKnol in his capacity as an electric vehicle marketing consultant. He is the publisher of EVinfo.net. His past experience includes marketing for Autobody News, a publisher of automotive collision repair news and information.
