BOEM Gulf of Maine Offshore Wind Development
The Bureau of Ocean Energy Management is due to receive responses to its request for interest in the development of commercial offshore wind leases in the Gulf of Maine and its request for competitive interest in the State of Maine’s application for a research lease. The bureau seeks feedback from industry, stakeholders, ocean users, tribes, and others in the expansion of commercial offshore wind leases on nearly 13.7 million acres in the Gulf of Maine and on the application seeking over 9,700 acres on the outer continental shelf.
