EnerKnol Founder to speak at Wharton Innovation Summit
EnerKnol (formerly Energy Solutions Forum) CEO and Founder, Angelique Mercurio, will speak Wednesday, April 30, at the inaugural Innovation Summit hosted by the Wharton Alumni Club of Washington, DC.
The conference will bring together leaders in innovation across multiple industries to highlight tools and techniques that have helped power successful innovations in various fields. Ultimately, the 2-day conference conference seeks to power business, economic, and job growth in the U.S. and abroad through intellectual discourse on various topics ranging from smart cities, cyber security, and venture capital.
Ms. Mercurio will join a panel of energy industry leaders, including Verdant Power CEO Ron Smith, Green Generation Solutions CEO Brad Dockser, and HLM Chairman Jack Young, in a discussion on Urban Innovation and Energy, which will address energy challenges that cities face: resource availability, as well as solutions that control demand and ultimately increase energy supply.
As an energy policy expert, Ms. Mercurio will offer her perspective on the regulatory environment required to support urban innovations in energy. Launched in 2012, ESF’s groundbreaking data platform, EnerKnol, is the first one-stop energy policy data portal, which provides energy market participants with critical regulatory information required drive forward investment and technology innovation.
